Urban Graffiti
6.0% Black IPA / Cascadian Dark Ale
A cross between a black IPA and stout rammed with smoked and roast malts giving a smooth and complex body with a distinct hoppy flavour.

Last night’s beer, the first ‘official’ beer in 9 days having been working in Bahrain for the last 8 days. Curfews and alcohol bans were the order of the day unfortunately. At over £10 a pint for shit beer, that’s probably not a bad thing!
Always a good drop is this, roasty and bitter, full on beer. Guinness can do one 👍

Decided to do a bit of Friday night food pairing. BBQd brisket and paprika onions with homemade guac and cucumber sticks, goes very well indeed with the roasty and slightly Smokey and bitter Urban Graffiti 👍

I love a good reject! Especially when it’s my favourite beer from my local brewery, happy Friday!!! 😀
Dug the commemorative football (soccer) weissbier glass out from the back of the cupboard and thought it’d be good to try and get the head on the top of the glass. Failed miserably but looks half decent.
The glass actually helps accentuate all those roast and smoked malts though, great stuff!

Fresh, roasty as hell and with a good hop kick to match! Not for the faint hearted 👍

Not had this for a while. Definitely my favourite local beer. Smooth roasted malt profile with a heavy texture. Almost treacle like. Slight burnt bitterness and a nice zing from the hops, finished with a lingering liquorice aftertaste

Hoppy black beer, with all the right stoutiness and packing a punch at 6%

Quite flat, creamy and smooth, with a nice toasty maltiness and a good belting of hops
