La Blanche de Froment et Orge Maltée, Switzerland
2.7
La palette de dégustation 2/5. Misty, straw beer with a reasonable, one-finger, pure white, cotton head that leaves some downpouring traces and a neat lace ring for substantially longer. The very weak scent portrays a tad lemon juice, grapefruit pulp, distant pomelo and extraordinarily faint toast. The palate is light, displaying first and foremost identifiable lemon, a wee bit of grapefruit and harsher wheat flour. The body is extremely thin. The beer ends rapidly with a dollop of watery citrus nectar, predominantly the same lemon and grapefruit as upfront. The mouthfeel is light, relatively fresh, rather thin, slightly tart and summery.
