Haalean punertavan rusehtavaa ja sameaa. Kepoinen pienikuplainen vaahto.

From CBH 2018 pop-up shop. Totally impenetrable, vermilion-red beer with moderate, short-lived carbonation builds an off-white, soapy head that barely reaches one finger and settles hastily down to a thin lace ring on top. The scent portrays loads of medium-sweet cherry nectar and a fairly easily recognizeable note of delicate vanilla. The fragrance is somewhat candy-like. The palate is, nevertheless, strongly sour with cherry again in the leading role. A hint of rowanberry can also be detected. The candy-like sweetness of the fragrance is nowhere, instead the tongue gets a really tart and relatively puckering impression. Lactose brings in a very distant creamy nuance. Vanilla remains hidden. The body is light to light-medium, perhaps closer to the former. The beer ends with a rather sour mashed cherry, a bit of cranberry and a tiny pinch of rowanberry. The aftertaste rolls on tongue for some time. The mouthfeel is relatively tart and somewhat puckering, very gardeny and truly summery. It's also natural and rich in berries. Matches beautifully with blueberry pie and sweet vanilla sauce.
