Aroma has tons of coffee, along with maple syrup and brown sugar. Taste has the maple syrup first. Following this, I'm getting coffee and brown sugar. The carbonation is lacking a bit, but this crowler was canned almost a week ago, so that's to be expected. The coffee is intense and flavorful, with 3 different coffees used to make this. Fantastic beer from a small, local brewery in town. I really hope they brew this one (at least) yearly. 4.5/5

This is an interesting beer. I've never had a lager with coffee. The coffee is bold and strong without being overpowering. A nice maple syrup follows as does some oak from the barrel aging. This has all the best characteristics of a well made stout with the body of a premium lager and the color of a porter. If this wasn't only available at the brewery and I could take it home in a crowler, this would be a regular in my fridge until I could no longer get it. New favorite from this brewery. 4.5/5
