Uncle Sam Hop Burst
4.3% American Pale Ale
Cask; special for Wetherspoons Autumn 2014 International Real Ale Festival. This new beer has been developed especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival, using a new American hop variety, in collaboration with hop merchants Charles Faram. This deep golden beer has powerful, zesty fruity hop notes in the aroma, plus hints of grapefruit, citrus and lychees.

Last night Quick trip to local pub ( The Victoria ) on my beautiful blue bike 🚴 ( triple B ) What can I have today...? Hmmmm 🤔 takes me 10 minutes to choose. Uncle Sam Hop Burst from Cotleigh brewery. It's little bit different American Pale Ale but still ok. Clear amber colour with really thin white head. Fruity, citrus aroma and little kick of apple on background. Taste is definitely caramel malt with tropical fruit and apple ( to be honest more apple flavour than grapefruit ). I'm not big fun of caramel 😕 so for me must to be a really clever mixture with hops to say ---> brilliant beer ! Very low carbonation but refreshing drink 😜

I thought this would be a run of the mill beer but after having half of my pint it's really a nice traditional beer
