Peroni Gran Riserva Bianca is a Weiss beer with a fresh taste, pleasantly drinkable, characterized by fruity and spicy aromas. The selected high-fermentation yeast and the traditional production process give it a pleasant hint of cloves. According to tradition, the recipe uses barley and wheat malt. In order to guarantee a high-quality product we use only 100% Italian malt and a special variety of light Italian malt which gives it the elegant cloudy blond colour typical of Weiss beers.

An Italian blonde, certainly good looking. Poured nicely from the bottle leaving a hazy golden yellow body with half a finger of white foam with decent retention. Scents are all classic weiss style, fruity and spicy. Lots of wheat, banana, coriander and pepper. Mouthfeel is foamy, medium bodied, very slick and a little oily. Taste is much like the scent, lots of wheat, a little sweet bread, lots of banana rises to the fore half way through. The pepper doesn't make it to the scent but a gentle coriander rolls in to finish out the lot. Nothing new but a nice weiss nonetheless. Nice effort from the Italians.

Süßlich-getreidige Nase. Hefig, etwas künstlich im Antrunk, dazu süßlich malzig, Kaugummi. Säuerliche Grundnote. Durchaus rund, sättigend. Herbe fehlt völlig, ist nicht meins.
