Impenetrable, dirty orange beer with fizzy, rather fast carbonation lays a restrained, creamy head. The foam melts visibly in eyes to a thin lacing only. The nose receives an aroma of thick spruce forest. This is crazy! I have never encountered such a massive, dominant spruce needles nuance in the scent. This is like sniffing the Christmas tree. A tad fresh lemon juice and a drop of resin linger also simultaneously with the coniferous adventure. The taste is extremely sour and fantastically puckering. I just can't help grinding my teeth. Strong lemon peel, a mouthful of spruce needles and raw gooseberry constitute the basis of the gustatory experience. I must admit that this combination of extreme sourness and relatively deep crispness is truly odd and significantly challenging. The body is light-medium. The beer finishes -- surprise, surprise! -- with massive sour-crisp spruce needles that merge with grated lemon peel. The aftertaste disappears with rush from the mouth. The mouthfeel is highly tart, superconiferous and probably the most puckering beer I've ever tasted. It's lunatic, funky and spooky. Really unique! I'm not sure if I would crave for more but I will definitely buy more to offer my friends who have no idea what they will have in their glasses... And I will laugh when they sip the beer. Ok, the bottle is finished now. Went down even easily. 😵  This beer actually contains pine, spruce and juniper. The rating reflects both the paranormal beer experience as well as Pien and Tuju's courage to step out of the comfort zone. Anybody's comfort zone.
