This is my first homebrew check-in, not made by myself but an older chap in this village. The beer is traditional Finnish Sahti, a real ale type strong ale. The beer itself looks muddy, orange with truly weak, off-white, soapy head that soon settles totally flat still. The scent is very predictable with hefty sweet banana and a bit of oversweet cantaloupe. The palate builds a full gustatory experience with loads of banana, hefty sweet bread and a strong syrupy note. The full-bodied beer ends rather short with sweet malt and medium-bitter fermented banana. The mouthfeel is rather thick, nectar-like, very soft and smooth, slightly sappy and really flat as this is a real ale.
