Now featuring apricot!
It seems the previous reviews of this beer are for a raspberry Berliner Weiss but here I have an apricot one. I don't know if it's temporary or a permanent change.
Bright and juicy aroma with no sourness on the nose to suggest how tart this Berliner Weiss will be. Lively carbonation when first poured and no head or visible bubbles thereafter.
Light in the mouth with juicy apricot and wheaty yeasty goodness. It has a light body, concealed fizziness and a fast and dry finish.
Easily quaffable as it's soft and the sourness starts to decline in intensity immediately. This makes the brew quite morish and refreshing.
It's a gentle beer at 3.5% ABV, which is typical for a Berliner as is the nice balance of wheat, juice and sourness.
