Full bodied, aromatic and juicy. This delicious IPA gets its bold flavour from generous additions of Citra and Simcoe hops.

Eilisen Olpo goes Bodom bar & sauna -tapahtuman yhteydessä ostetut lasinaluset kokeiluun. 12 kpl setti COB:n levynkansilla taiteiltuina. Mahtavaa. Käyttöön Halo of Blood. Lasiin tuliaisolut itselle Vancouverista. Stanley parkissa tuli pyöräiltyä, mutta panimolle en ehtinyt. Käy tämäkin! Samea sinappinen keltainen.

I've had some hit or miss luck with Stanley Park brews so I open this with trepidation. As Its poured I can catch hints of what will be displayed in the olfactory array. It is a rather unremarkable copper tinted orange and is hazy in the fashion of the day. Not neipa hazy but cloudy enough. It seems carbonated well and doesn't display much head but keeps up a respectable thin layer of foam. As the i fill my nose and sinus with the aromas the bouquet offered up by this ipa I am actually quite pleased by what I'm getting. It is decently hoppy and almost dank, but not so piney, more so there is floral, grapefruity type scent. Not aggressive but very ample. Pine is a feature but it is not a dominant trait. Also there is a mild caramel malt underneath the not quite fruity hops. The taste is similar in that it is dank but not super piney. Fruity but indistinct. A hefty malt backbone but very well hopped. I'm getting bruised tropical stonefruit, grapefruit and pine. It seems like a boozyness too, but not vaporous. Bitterness falls in the middle of the scale and is appropriate to style. A fairly good offering, not a favourite but respectable.
