More deep dark red than black but still.... a black ipa I keep forgetting I have some more of these collaboration beers left. So this one offers aromas that are precisely what I would expect, hoppy and roasty. The hops are coming across as more traditional, with more piney evergreen notes than fruity. The roastiness comes out as molasses, burnt caramel and roast barley. ........and then I dropped the damn thing and spilled it all. What little tiny sip was left was thin and evergreen tasting. For f@#$ sakes. Ahhh. What a waste. Oh well perhaps another time.
