Parempaakin on ollut, mutta myös huonompaa

Murky, dirty dark brown Sahti pours from canister. Carbonation is zero as the style goes, only a thin chain of few bubbles emerge on the side of the top. The scent is relatively weak but offers medium-hefty dominant banana as expected. A bit of sappy mango and some sweet biscuit can also detected but no other aromas. The tongue is slightly disappointed due to the thinness of the palate. The nuances are basically sufficiently strong but the overall impression suffers from wateriness. The tastebuds receive thin banana juice, seasoned by a tad rye dough, distant rye bread and an interesting whisper of tropical tamarind. The body is light-medium to medium. The beer finishes rather rapidly with somewhat bready, doughy and a bit grainy aftertaste. Some bitterness creeps into the mouth but remains rather low. The mouthfeel is light, slightly watery, very remotely crisp. Not particularly a winner but decent.
