So I’m finishing the last of this 6 pack. Hoping for improvement. Didn’t happen. Cleared out my stouts tonight and ended with this one. Bad choice to end with. Ugh.

Very weak for a porter. Was expecting a strong malt taste. It’s there I think but barely a hint. Has just a touch of cocoa. Gets a little better as it warms but that doesn’t do much for this one. Overall it’s light, watery and almost flavorless. Worst part is I bought a 6 pack so 5 more to go. 😩😫

Moderately high, deep tan head. Aroma is of a strange spice, plus cocoa. Mouthfeel is crisp and light. Cocoa flavor but has unusual background taste. Finish is flat and tasteless. No milkshake at all. A total miss on the title.

Its a decent porter but definitely doesn't taste like a milkshake malt. Some chocolate flavors but not a ton.
