Quite enjoyable, was expecting more chocolate over "spice". Very light and an easyone to drink. Would drink again.

Crispy, smokey with a slight peppery burn at the back of the throat. Highly enjoyable drink from Asda, will definitely buy another. Flavoured with a nice roasted malt and chocolate combinations popular in a lot of porters but balanced perfectly for my own palate. The spicy kick and smooth, creamy melted chocolate taste really do it for me.

See previous review. Continues to be a bargain in the 4 for £6 Asda deal. A cracking porter from a great brewery.

Not a big dark ale/porter fan but this one is actually really nice. Very smooth and not too heavy, wouldn’t say it was too chocolate based though
