Semihazy, deep amber beer pours from tap. Emerges an off-white, velvety head that rises approximately to half a finger's height. The foam leaves irrational lines on the glass and descends gradually to a neat, thin lace ring lingering much longer on top. The fragrance is interestingly somewhat sweet, consisting of biscuity malty elements, some dried peach, fruit drycake and a tad honey. Nicely springly meady! The palate offers fruity zesty grapefruit, seasoned by lemon juice and harsher lemon peel. The taste is refreshing and slightly light. Light-medium body. A somewhat more coarse piney nuance features in the otherwise grapefruity and lemony aftertaste. The duration is relatively long. The mouthfeel is a bit light, rather fresh and nicely juicy. It's also surprisingly and appealingly soft and smooth, although simultaneously reasonably crisp as well as distantly tropical.
