Makea ja tervainen. Ei janoon ja ei lämpimänä. Tervaisen makea jälkimaku.

Tasting set 2/3. Blackish beer which allows a ray of light go through, giving the beer a slight red hue. A subdued, creamy head forms on the surface, just to melt down to a weak, yet visible lace ring. The dying head leaves no traces at all on the glass. This beer goes 180 degrees in the opposite direction as for the fragrance than the first one. The scent is heavy and oversweet with loads of soft raisin, overripe fig and a tad dark plum that is at the edge of getting spoiled. Very sweet malt and syrup follow behind. The tongue is this time pampered with quite sweet maple syrup, very sweet raisin-filled brown bread and plum cake. The fruity sphere proves to be dark and overripe, offering soft nuances of dark plum, fermented fig and a bit of raisin. Alcohol remains nicely hidden. It shouldn't be a surprise that this beer's body is also marvelously full. The beer finishes with hefty plum and a bit of fermented raisin, followed by massive lingering sweet malt, a powerful punch of syrup and a slight woody touch. The mouthfeel is rather throat-warming, substantially heavy and so sappy that it just remains on the manageable side. It's also quite flat as this type of beers don't normally bolster of rich carbonation. A perfect drink for the Christmas eve with flames in the fireplace!
